8th Grade Teacher Meet Miss Thomas	Hello, my name is Allison Thomas. I received my bachelor’s degree from Cumberland Unversity in 2008 where I also wrapped up my career of being a college softball pitcher. I am a new teacher to Greenbrier Middle School ,but becoming a teacher was a lifelong dream of mine.I was born and raised in a small town outside of Chattanooga. Growing up, I had a loving,wonderful mother and the best daddy a girl could ever have. I also have a sister I learned everything from :).Coming from Lebanon last year, I am still learning all there is to know about this area. I believe that the role of teachers and administrators is to nurture your children, inspire them to learn, challenge them to try new things, and encourage them to be the best that they can be. As I strive to accomplish this great task, it is my hope that we will always remember that at Greenbrier Middle, children are our first priority. This can only be a reality when we all work together to daily do what is best for each individual child.
