Robertson County Schools Expect Success!

The Michael L. Printz Award is given yearly to the book that best shows excellence in young adult literature. Each year one winner and four honor books are named. The award has been given every year since 2000.

This year's winner is Jellicoe Road, by Melina Marchetta.


The honor books this year are M.T. Anderson's The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Volume II, E. Lockhart's The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks, Terry Pratchett's Nation, and Margo Lanagan's Tender Morsels.
