There are numerous book lists for college bound students. These lists have numerous books that are highly recommended for students planning to attend college, both fiction and nonfiction.

Every five years, the ALA puts together a list of books that are recommended reading for future college students. The most recent list was created in 2009. To see the complete list, go to the ALA's Outstanding Books for the College Bound page.

Arrowhead Library System has their own, extensive list of fiction and nonfiction. You can find it here .

The College Board, which also administers the SAT, has a list called 101 Great Books .

Petersons, publishers of college and study guides, has their own College Bound Reading List .

These lists don't represent every great book for a college bound student, but they're a very good start.
